Among the works to be performed is a work in progress of a new duet performed by Trent D. Williams Jr. & Helanius J. Wilkins. 
 
A tidbit about the new project: "the d l b project" is inspired by love letters, mystery, and deeper creative curiosities stimulated by personal experiences in developing and performing /CLOSE/R, my evening-length solo project. In this duet I am finding myself exploring how we find our way from acknowledging and thinking to contemplation to having conversations when encountering matters of the heart.

I, Helanius J. Wilkins, am very grateful to continue sharing the journey that is /CLOSE/R with audiences. It continues to surprise, excite, and challenge in ways that are unexpected. /CLOSE/R opens TONIGHT (Thursday, March 7) @ the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival! Tonight's performance begins at 9:30 pm. The show will be followed by a brief post-discussion. A second performance will take place on Friday, March 8 @ 7 pm! Hope to see you there!!!!

Mixer III

Mixer III was a complete success. I am so thankful for Boris Willis, Reggie Cole, Mervin Primeaux, and Trent D. Williams, Jr. sharing their amazing talents and works. The Mixer series has been a wonderful way to demonstrate how EDGEWORKS achieves its mission of showing the diversity of dance being created by African-American men!
